Concrete screw designed for practical installation of systems
The BTS E 6×35 screw with external M6 thread is a component dedicated to fast and reliable fastening in concrete – both cracked and uncracked substrates. It is designed as a reusable solution, meaning it can be safely unscrewed and re‑installed – ideal for situations requiring flexibility, e.g., system modifications or temporary mounting.
Installation is performed in two steps: first, drill a hole with a diameter of 6 mm and a minimum depth of 40 mm, then screw the fastener in using an SW10 socket wrench. The same tool is used for both drilling (with the appropriate accessory) and tightening – shortening work time and eliminating the need to change tools.
Why it works well in practice?
Short length (35 mm) reduces the risk of hitting reinforcement bars – especially important when working on old structures or where the reinforcement layout is uncertain.
Zinc‑aluminum coating (ZnAl) provides far better corrosion resistance than standard galvanizing – not only aesthetic but also a genuinely longer service life in humid or aggressive environments.
M6 thread 5 mm long allows direct attachment of mounting rails, cable hangers, or other external elements – no additional nuts or washers are required.
Two possible embedding depths (35 mm or 50 mm) give flexibility – the installation can be adapted to substrate thickness or load requirements.
Approvals ETA and CNBOP confirm compliance with European standards for non‑structural applications – this is not an “ordinary” screw but a certified safety component.
Where it is suitable?
For mounting cable trays, ventilation ducts, cable hangers, switchgear enclosures, ventilation pipes, or other installation elements in commercial and residential buildings. It works in concrete C20/25 and higher classes as well as in dense natural stone. It is not intended for structural loads – but wherever a quick, safe, and reversible fastening to a concrete wall is needed, it is one of the most effective solutions available on the market.
