Concrete screw with internal thread M8 – fast, reusable fastening system
The BTS H 6×50 screw with internal thread M8 is a solution designed for installers who need quick, reliable, and repeatable fastening in concrete – without the need for chemical anchors or specialized tools. Its design allows installation in two steps: drilling the hole and directly tightening the element – all with a single tool, which shortens work time and eliminates the risk of error during over‑tightening.
The internal M8 thread enables direct attachment of threaded rods, brackets, mounting rails, or clamps – without the need for additional nuts or intermediary parts. This is especially useful for installing suspended systems, cable routes, or guiding profiles. High flexibility is also provided by the option of two anchoring depths: 35 mm or 50 mm. The shorter depth (35 mm) reduces the risk of hitting reinforcement – crucial when working on old structures or in areas with unknown composition.
The zinc‑aluminum coating provides corrosion resistance in humid and aggressive environments – without additional painting or coating. This not only improves aesthetics but also delivers a longer service life for the anchor, even when exposed to steam or construction dust.
The system is approved by ETA and CNBOP for multiple use in cracked and uncracked concrete, as well as in prefabricated channel tiles. It does not require expansion – it works solely through mechanical adhesion and thread shear, making it safe for use near edges or in thin walls (minimum concrete thickness: 100 mm).
Installation is simple: drill a Ø6 mm hole to a depth of 40–55 mm (depending on the chosen anchoring depth), clean out the dust, and then tighten the screw with a hex key SW10. No special adhesives are needed and there is no curing time – the element is load‑bearing immediately after tightening.
Remember the minimum clearances: 40 mm from the edge and 40 mm between fastening points – exceeding these values reduces load capacity. In concrete C20/25 the load capacity is 0.85 kN at 35 mm depth and 1.90 kN at 50 mm depth – sufficient for most non‑structural applications: hanging fluorescent lamps, cable trays, cable ducts, or handrails.
This is not a “single‑use” element – it can be removed and re‑installed without loss of load‑bearing properties. It is one of the few solutions on the market that combine fast installation with the possibility of reuse.
