Universal frame anchor for fixing in various construction materials

The MFR 10x100mm anchor with a conical screw featuring a TX socket is a solution designed for safe and durable fixing of facade substructures, wooden elements, and metal components in virtually all commonly used construction materials – from concrete and brick to aerated concrete, gypsum board, or OSB panels. Its design has been verified and approved by an ETA approval, confirming compliance with requirements for fire-resistant systems, including for industrial doors with F90 fire rating – e.g., those manufactured by Hörmann.

The internal structure of the anchor is made of high-quality aging-resistant nylon, ensuring flexibility and durability even under extreme weather conditions. The flat flange prevents galvanic corrosion, while special transverse enlargements on the anchor surface enable early and extended expansion – resulting in reliable holding power in materials of varying density.

The conical screw with TX 40 (Torx-type) socket is made of galvanized steel, providing corrosion resistance without the need for additional coating. Its head shape allows for deep and precise embedding in the material, while the Torx socket eliminates the risk of tool cam-out during installation – especially during manual work or in hard-to-reach locations.

All lengths up to 160 mm are pre-assembled – the screw is already fixed to the anchor, significantly speeding up installation and reducing storage costs. A uniform setting depth (min. 60–80 mm) enables consistent installation techniques regardless of anchor length, facilitating work for both the installer and the construction team.

Installation requires a 10 mm diameter hole drilled in the material – preferably using a concrete drill bit. After cleaning the hole (e.g., with a brush or air blower), the anchor with the attached screw is inserted through the substructure and pressed against the substrate – expansion occurs automatically under pressure.

No additional washers or fastening elements are required – the entire assembly functions as a unified system.
