Universal frame anchor for fixing in various building materials
The MFR 10x160mm frame anchor with a conical screw featuring a TX socket is designed for permanent and secure fixing of facade substructures, door and window frames, as well as wooden and metal elements in concrete, brick, concrete blocks, sandstone, and other commonly used building materials. Its design has been optimized for fast and precise installation—benefiting both the installer and the end user.
All lengths up to 160 mm are pre-assembled, eliminating the need to manually connect the anchor with the screw on-site. This significantly reduces assembly time and minimizes the risk of errors during component assembly. The uniform setting depth (50 mm or 70 mm) ensures consistent compliance with technical requirements across different lengths—no need to adjust the installation technique for each version.
The anchor is made of high-quality, aging-resistant nylon, and features a flat flange surface that prevents galvanic corrosion when in contact with metal components. Internal transverse ribs ensure early and sustained expansion within the hole, providing reliable holding power even in low-density materials such as concrete blocks or hollow bricks.
The conical screw with a TX40 socket allows for installation using a cordless screwdriver—no specialized equipment is required. The TX40 socket is an industry standard, ensuring compatibility with most tools available on the market.
The product holds an ETA approval, confirming its compliance with European safety standards for anchoring systems in concrete and load-bearing masonry. This is a key argument for installations in projects requiring technical documentation, such as ventilated facades or fire-resistant doors.
The version with a galvanized screw is suitable for most indoor and outdoor applications. However, it is not covered by the ETA assessment—if full technical documentation is required (e.g., for facades), versions made of A4 stainless steel are recommended.
