Universal frame anchor for fixing in various building materials

The MFR 8x80mm anchor with a conical screw featuring a TX socket is designed for permanent and secure fixing of facade substructures, door and window frames, as well as wooden and metal components in virtually all commonly used building materials – from concrete and brick to aerated concrete blocks and natural stone.

A key advantage is its pre-assembled construction – the screw is already installed in the anchor, eliminating the risk of losing components on-site and significantly speeding up installation. All lengths up to 160 mm are ready to use without additional processing.

Reliable holding thanks to special design

The anchor features a long expansion zone with transverse ribs, ensuring early and uniform expansion within the hole. This means that even in porous materials such as blocks or hollow bricks, the anchor creates a stable connection without risk of pull-out.

The flat collar at the end of the anchor acts as a barrier against crevice corrosion – protecting metal fastening elements from chemical reactions with concrete or masonry. The screw with a TX (Torx) socket allows for precise tightening without the risk of stripping the head, which is crucial when working in hard-to-reach areas.

ETA approval and application in demanding installations

The product holds ETA approval – a European technical assessment confirming compliance with safety standards for installation in concrete and masonry. Additionally, it has been tested by Hörmann as suitable for mounting fire doors – meaning it meets high requirements for fire resistance and stability under load.

The embedding depth is 50 mm, corresponding to the standard hole depth for most facade systems and frames. When using this anchor, there is no need to measure depth – simply drill to 60 mm and insert the complete assembly.

High material quality – aging-resistant nylon – ensures long-term resistance to weather conditions, even with prolonged exposure to UV radiation or moisture.
