Ideal solution for mounting downpipes in thermal insulation

The insulation screw 995IPLD is a specially designed component for bridge‑free mounting of gutter brackets directly in the ETICS insulation layer. Its design eliminates heat conduction through the mounting point — meaning the continuity of the thermal insulation is not compromised, and the system retains full efficiency.

The pre‑assembled threaded rod provides a fixed 30 mm clearance between the wall and the downpipe. This clearance can be further adjusted in 25 mm increments — allowing precise adaptation to irregular surfaces or varying insulation thicknesses without replacing the part or using additional spacers.

The EPDM cellular rubber gasket, already installed in the head, ensures sealing even under heavy rain and hurricane‑force wind — verified by test according to DIN EN 1027 method A. No additional sealing is required after installation.

The plug made of reinforced nylon is self‑drilling and penetrates ETICS plaster up to 7 mm without pre‑drilling. It is resistant to ageing, UV and extreme temperatures — from –40 °C to +80 °C. The threaded rod is made of galvanized steel or A2 (stainless) steel, guaranteeing long‑term corrosion resistance even with direct exposure to weather conditions.

Installation is performed with an SW17 wrench (for the plug) and an SW13 or TX25 (for the rod). If there is a risk of the plug rotating while adjusting the rod, simply hold it with the SW17 wrench.
