Simple and fast installation of downpipes in thermal insulation

Insulation screw ZG895IPLDS4 enables direct mounting of gutter brackets without creating a thermal bridge – ideal for ETICS systems. It does not require pre‑drilling in render up to 7 mm thick, thanks to the sharp self‑drilling tip made of glass‑fiber‑reinforced nylon. It is resistant to ageing, UV radiation and weathering.

Adjustment and sealing – no additional components

The pre‑assembled threaded rod provides a constant 30 mm distance of the downpipe from the wall, and an additional 25 mm adjustment allows positioning even with slight surface deviations. The integrated EPDM cellular rubber gasket ensures hermetic sealing – the product successfully passed the driving‑rain sealing test according to DIN EN 1027 method A. No extra gaskets or washers are needed.

Resistance and compatibility

The M8 connection thread, made of galvanized steel or A2 steel, offers long‑term corrosion resistance even in humid conditions. Installation can be performed with a hex key SW17 (recommended), SW13 or a TX25 bit. It works safely with all types of insulation materials: polystyrene, foams, Heraklith boards and wood‑fiber boards (the latter requiring a 13 mm pre‑drill).

Packaged in sets of 4 – one package is sufficient for a typical downpipe installation.
