The MZ 8x48 anchor is a proven solution for installers who require reliable connections in diverse substrates – from solid concrete and full brick, through concrete blocks and gypsum blocks, to gypsum boards and particleboards. Its four-sided expansion acts as an automatic adaptation mechanism: in solid materials, it expands on all sides, while in perforated or hollow structures, it creates a binding effect that prevents pull-out.

The high-quality polyethylene from which it is manufactured does not become brittle over time – it retains flexibility even under extreme temperatures and humidity. This is crucial for long-term anchoring stability, especially in locations exposed to vibrations or thermal changes.

Compatibility and application without compromise

It works with most standard screws with a diameter of 4–6 mm – no need to search for specialized fasteners. The screw is simply inserted into the anchor, and the assembly functions as a single unit. In concrete and full brick, it provides a load capacity of up to 0.72 kN at full anchoring depth (48 mm), sufficient for mounting heavy elements – from air conditioning units to kitchen cabinets. In lightweight materials, such as concrete blocks or gypsum boards, it maintains stability thanks to the "material-gripping" effect around the anchor.

It is halogen-free – meaning it does not emit toxic gases in the event of a fire. This is not only a matter of building safety but also compliance with requirements for public and industrial facilities.

The hole depth should be at least 60 mm – this ensures full utilization of the anchor length and maximum load capacity.
