Universal expansion plug for practically any substrate
The MZ 6x30 plug is a proven solution that works reliably in both dense materials and those with voids – from concrete to gypsum boards. Its four-sided expansion ensures stable fastening without the need for additional locking mechanisms or adhesive, while its flexible construction made of high-quality polyethylene does not become brittle under temperature variations and loads – even after years of use.
It operates safely in solid bricks, concrete blocks, hollow blocks, as well as perforated materials – precisely where other plugs fail. In hollow bricks or cellular concrete blocks, it does not "pull out" – the bonding effect is maintained thanks to the material structure and the plug's shape.
For the installer – simplicity and precision
Installation requires only a properly drilled hole with a diameter of 6 mm and a minimum depth of 40 mm. There is no need to drill the full length of the plug – an anchoring depth of 29 mm is sufficient, allowing flexibility when working with thin boards. The plug is compatible with screws of 3–4.5 mm diameter, meaning you can use standard wood or metal screws – no need to purchase specialized components.
It is halogen-free – which is important for installations in enclosed spaces or where low emission of harmful substances during a fire is required.
For the end user – durability and safety
This is not an "ordinary" fastening. This plug does not expand only under weight – it expands dynamically under pull-out loads. This means: if you hang a shelf, TV, or air conditioner on it, it will not come out of the substrate even after many years. Load-bearing values confirm this: even in lightweight aerated concrete (AAC2), it maintains a load of over 0.04 kN, while in solid brick – nearly 0.26 kN.
No special tools are required. There is no need to force it in. Simply hammer it into the hole and tighten the screw – the entire mechanism works automatically.
