The flange at the top prevents it from sinking too deeply during installation—a key feature when working with thin panels where hole depth must be precisely controlled. This makes it safe even for installation on gypsum boards with a thickness of 15 mm and more.

Constructed from high-quality polyethylene, it maintains flexibility throughout its service life—it does not become brittle nor lose its ability to expand under load. This ensures not only durability but also predictability: the connection does not "creep" or "pop out" under cyclic loading.
