Universal expansion anchor with flange, tested in over 15 building materials
The MZK 14x75 anchor with flange operates reliably in both dense and porous substrates – from concrete and solid brick to gypsum boards and wood. Its four-sided expansion ensures stable fastening even under high pull-out loads, while the polyethylene body maintains flexibility throughout its service life – without stiffening or cracking.
It performs safely in hollow materials: perforated brick, concrete blocks, hollow blocks, or chipboard – the anchor mechanically "locks" into the cavity walls, relying not only on friction. In solid materials – such as concrete or natural stone – it expands evenly in four directions, creating a durable connection.
Compatible with most screws and bolts of 10–12 mm diameter. The flanged version prevents shifting during installation and facilitates precise positioning – especially when working at heights or in hard-to-reach areas. Halogen-free – safe for the installer and the environment.
For the installer: simple installation, minimal tolerance
Installation requires only a 14 mm diameter hole with a minimum depth of 100 mm. The anchor needs no additional tools – simply hammer it in manually or with a hammer, then tighten the appropriate screw. The flange acts as a stopper: it prevents over-driving, eliminating the risk of substrate damage or improper load distribution.
Load-bearing values confirm its utility: pull-out loads reach up to 2.27 kN in concrete, and in AAC4 aerated concrete they approach 0.6 kN – ensuring stability when mounting heavy elements on internal or external walls. In gypsum boards and chipboards, it provides secure holding even under medium loads.
For the end user: durability without maintenance
No inspection or replacement required. It does not rust, react to moisture, or respond to temperature changes. The polyethylene body does not degrade under exposure to household chemicals or UV radiation – so even when installed outdoors (e.g., in roof structures), it remains stable for decades. This is the solution for those seeking a one-time installation – with no need to worry about its future performance.
