Universal flanged anchor, proven in practice
The MZK 8x48 flanged anchor is a solution that works reliably in almost every building material—from concrete and solid brick to gypsum boards and wood. Its four-sided expansion ensures durable fastening even in hollow or perforated structures, such as perforated bricks or concrete blocks. There is no need to worry about joint weakening—the bonding effect works under both tensile and shear loads.
Constructed from high-quality polyethylene, it does not become brittle at low temperatures nor lose flexibility due to moisture. This is crucial for installations in areas with varying conditions—for example, outdoors, in bathrooms, or stairwells. The material is halogen-free, meaning a lower risk of emitting toxic gases in case of fire.
For the installer—simplicity and flexibility
You do not need to change the anchor depending on the substrate. The same element works in concrete, gypsum, solid brick, and hollow blocks. Compatible with a wide range of screws—from M4 to M6—it requires no special tools or additional components. A wood screw with a hexagonal head (M6x80) is already supplied with the anchor, shortening installation time and eliminating the risk of errors during selection.
The hole depth of 60 mm and anchor length of 49 mm make it ideal for materials with a thickness starting from 9 mm—for example, when mounting cabinets, electrical sockets, or handrails. The minimum edge distance is 49 mm—a simple rule to remember on the construction site.
For the end user—safety and durability
When mounting a wall-hung toilet, cabinet, or television, you do not want the fastening to “fail” after a few years. The MZK anchor not only maintains a load capacity of 0.72 kN in concrete and 0.59 kN in solid brick (with a safety factor of 7), but also retains its functionality for many years. It does not corrode, dissolve, or crack—even if walls shift or moisture levels change.
There is no need to use additional adhesives or anchors. All that is required is a suitable hole, a screw, and a screwdriver.
