Metal expansion plug for boards with thickness 32–45 mm

Plug HRM 9545HRM is a solution intended for mounting on hollow substrates – especially effective when installed on drywall, fiberboard or particleboard, as well as in suspended ceilings and partition walls. Its construction allows safe load securing even in thin sheets where traditional plugs do not provide sufficient durability.

After screwing and tightening, the rear part of the plug expands over a large area, creating a stable anchoring point. This not only increases load capacity but also minimizes the risk of pull‑out – particularly important when mounting heavier items such as shelves, wardrobes, curtain rails or ceiling‑mounted equipment.

Installation is simple: a regular screwdriver or cordless drill can be used, but for efficiency and precision – especially with a large number of fixings – the CELO MZA 100 installation pliers are recommended. This tool provides controlled tightening, avoiding damage to the board surface and ensuring optimal plug expansion.

As a metal component it is non‑combustible – it meets class A1 according to DIN EN 13501-1 (formerly DIN 4102), which means it is safe in terms of building regulations. It also carries CNBOP approval – confirmation of compliance with Polish safety standards for fixing systems.

Designed for material thicknesses from 32 to 45 mm, it fits modern wall and ceiling constructions that use thicker G-K boards. No pre‑drilling is required – just an appropriate hole diameter (11 mm) and a suitable M5 screw.
