Metal Sleeve 6x32 mm MSD – Mounting Solution for Challenging Construction Materials
The MSD 6x32 mm metal anchor is designed for applications where standard plastic sleeves fail to meet requirements—for example, in gas installations governed by TRGI 3.3.7.2. Replacing nylon with steel eliminates the risk of degradation due to temperature, chemicals, or long-term loading.
The serrated surface of the sleeve ensures natural grip in concrete, solid brick, aerated concrete, lightweight blocks, and stone—without the need for adhesives or chemical anchors. In AAC2 aerated concrete, pre-drilling is not even required; simply hammer the anchor into the mounting location.
For the Installer: Simplicity and Compliance with Standards
Installation is quick and requires no additional tools beyond a hammer and a screwdriver. The anchor works in conjunction with a double-threaded screw (e.g., Tirafondo) with a diameter of 5–6 mm—perfectly suited for cable clamps, water pipes, or gas conduits. The CNBOP certificate confirms its approval for use in Poland on construction sites, and its design meets the requirements for non-structural systems.
Important note: the drilling depth depends on the load-bearing capacity of the material—solid brick or concrete requires greater anchoring depth than aerated concrete. Manufacturer tables provide Feff values (effective pull-out load capacity); for this model, it reaches up to 2.1 kN with full anchoring and a maximum M6 screw.
For the End User: Safety and Durability
There is no place here for "ordinary" anchors that loosen over time. The metal sleeve does not age like nylon, does not crack at low temperatures, and does not lose load-bearing capacity due to humidity changes. This solution is ideal for applications where pipes or cabling must be permanently secured—for example, during the installation of gas pipes in hollow-block walls or ventilation systems.
This is not just a fastening element—it is a safety component.
