Self‑closing clamp for copper and plastic pipes
Abranyl® AN 18‑20 mm clamp closes automatically as soon as the pipe is inserted – no additional tools or manual tightening are required. This means less installation time, fewer errors and lower labor costs. It works with copper pipes Ø18 mm and plastic pipes Ø20 mm – one clamp replaces two, thanks to the patented multi‑size mounting system.
It can be mounted on various bases: quick‑mount pin NP 5×35, nylon pin FX 6, screw 4.5×35/45 or an M6 threaded rod. It is compatible with profiles E2000PB, E2000PG and 1000PVC, so it fits most existing installation systems.
For the installer – simplicity and flexibility; for the user – safety and durability
It is halogen‑free, which reduces the risk of toxic gas emission in case of sudden heating. Designed for hot‑water pipes up to 90 °C, it safely handles heating and district‑heating systems. The nylon material “embraces” the pipe, absorbing its thermal expansion – preventing stress and movement in the joint.
Dimensions: length 24 mm, width 15.5 mm, opening diameter 18.5 mm – all engineered to hold the pipe firmly without shifting or vibration. The black colour is UV‑resistant (although this model is grey – the limitation does not apply). Approved by KIWA, confirming compliance with sanitary‑installation requirements.
What it delivers in practice?
No need to press clamps or tighten screws – just insert the pipe.
One unit replaces two different clamps – less inventory to keep.
Mounting on an M6 rod allows attachment to supporting structures without extra components.
It does not expand under moisture or temperature – it won’t crack or warp like cheap plastics.
Halogen‑free – safe for the environment and personnel working on the installation.
