Self‑tapping system for installation on gypsum‑board walls

The nylon screw 9GKDPZ is a ready‑to‑use solution for fastening elements to G-K boards without the need for pre‑drilling. It consists of a 4.5 × 40 mm screw and a nylon insert reinforced with 30 % glass fibre — this material is resistant to ageing and contains no halogens, providing fire safety and long‑term stability in humid conditions.

The screw has a galvanically zinc‑plated coating and a PZ2‑type head, facilitating installation with a standard screwdriver. Thanks to the special design of the insert, the screw moves freely through the nylon part — no additional tools or pilot holes are required. This significantly speeds up the installer’s work, especially when handling large numbers of mounting points.

Insertion depth is 22 mm, and the G-K board thickness for which the system is designed ranges from 9–12.5 mm. The screw length is 40 mm, of which 35 mm is the threaded portion — sufficient for secure engagement in the supporting structure behind the board.

The system works as a single unit: the nylon insert expands within the board wall, creating a durable connection, and the zinc‑plated screw provides solid holding of a mounted element up to 18 mm thick. No washers or nuts are needed — everything is already integrated.

Useful for installing cabinets, rafters, trims or other components on gypsum‑board walls. It does not exert pressure on the board, does not crack during tightening, and does not require precise alignment — ideal for fast and clean installation.
