Safe and quick mounting of fire cables and other conductors
Metal holder PFT 916PFT is a component designed for installation using a clip – without screws, without drilling, without additional tools. It is attached directly to the clip’s nose and snaps into place in an instant, allowing one‑handed installation even in hard‑to‑reach locations. Installation time is only a few seconds – there is no need to stop work to change tools or prepare extra parts.
Compliance with standards and compatibility with most clips
The holder has ETA technical approval and CNBOP and ITB certificates for cable assemblies – meaning it meets the requirements for fire‑resistant installations (E90). It can be used under plaster, in concrete, solid brick, concrete blocks and on steel structural beams. It is compatible with clips CELO (FORCE ONE+, FOX20), SPIT (PULSA 800 P/E), HILTI (BX-3, GX-3), RAWLPLUG (SC40II) and FISCHER (FGC 100). However, it does not work with DEWALT DCN890, TRAK IT C5 nor WURTH DIGA CS2 – be sure to check before purchase.
Design providing stability and durability
The holder is made of steel with a zinc coating of at least 5 µm, protecting against corrosion – especially important for long‑term installations in moist or aggressive environments. Internal supporting ribs give higher mechanical resistance and better grip on the cable, reducing the risk of movement or detachment. Maximum load ranges from 6 to 10 kg – depending on cable type and substrate material.
Practical application
Ideal for mounting fire‑rated cables, telecommunications and signal cables – both rigid and flexible. It also works well with PVC tubes, insulating heating pipes or other conductors up to 16 mm diameter. Installation is recommended every 30 cm for standard applications, every 60 cm for specialized fire‑resistant systems. Note: for fire‑rated applications the nail must be driven into a solid, non‑porous surface – not into an empty block cavity or wood.
