Fast and reliable installation on hard substrates
The 5x50 mm flat-head quick-fixing plug, made of high-quality halogen-free nylon, ensures stable and durable anchoring in concrete, solid brick, natural stone, and other hard substrates. Its design has been optimized for practical use – both for the installer and the end user.
The pre-assembled screw with a PZ 2 recess allows for quick driving-in and, importantly, later removal – for example, when disassembly or repositioning is required. The raised ring around the screw head protects it from damage during installation and simultaneously prevents the recess from becoming clogged with dust or debris.
A special integral barrier inside the plug prevents premature expansion of the material – crucial for maintaining full load-bearing capacity under tensile loads. This ensures the plug does not "open up" too early in the hole, making its performance predictable and controlled.
The maximum thickness of the material that can be fixed is 25 mm – ideal for mounting battens, ducts, frames, electrical clamps, or other thin components. The minimum anchoring depth is 25 mm, and the hole in the substrate must be drilled with a 5 mm diameter.
Why does it work?
- Halogen-free nylon does not emit harmful gases when heated – safe for use in enclosed spaces and for long-term applications.
- The flat collar at the end of the plug eliminates the risk of contact corrosion when installed on metal components.
- Precise screw-to-plug fit ensures optimal material expansion – resulting in high load-bearing capacity (up to 0.18 kN in concrete).
- Possibility of unscrewing and reusing – a rare feature among quick-fixing plugs; allows for correction of installation without removing the entire component.
No additional tools are required beyond a drill and a PZ 2 screwdriver bit. Installation is simple: drill → drive in → tighten. No need for adhesives, threads, or additional fastening elements.
