Screw for thermal insulation, 55 mm, diameter 8 mm, black. Quantity per package: 50 pcs. 9455IPSH
Quick installation without pre‑drilling
The 9455IPSH screw is designed for direct mounting on thermal insulation – it does not require pre‑drilling of plaster or substrate. The sharp drill tip allows it to be screwed in immediately, even through thin plaster layers (up to 7 mm), shortening installation time and eliminating the risk of damaging the insulation while preparing holes.
No thermal bridges and excellent sealing
Made of glass‑fiber‑reinforced nylon, the screw does not conduct heat – it prevents the formation of thermal bridges in façades. The flat head (Ø 16 mm) with an integrated EPDM gasket adapts flexibly to the surface, creating a hermetic joint. This prevents water ingress and provides durable rain protection – tested according to DIN EN 1027 method A.
Universal application on wood‑fiber insulation
Ideal for insulation boards with a thickness from 60 mm, especially those made of wood fibre (e.g., Heraklith) or other perimeter panels. It can be used to attach wall profiles, covers, motion sensors, lamps, signs or other lightweight elements to the façade. The opening in the head (Ø 8 mm) allows additional mounting with a 3.5 mm screw – e.g., for detectors or cassettes.
TX25 mounting and resistance to outdoor conditions
The TX25 (TX‑Drive) socket enables fast and convenient installation with a battery‑powered or manual tool. The material is resistant to UV radiation, moisture and ageing – it does not yellow, crack or lose strength even after years of exposure to sun and rain. Available in black (RAL 9017), allowing subtle integration with most façade systems.
