The flat head (Ø 16 mm) with an EPDM gasket ensures a hermetic mounting point – it prevents moisture ingress and the formation of thermal bridges. This is crucial for the thermal efficiency of façade insulation, particularly with ETICS systems using wood‑fiber boards or peripheral insulation panels.
