Steel anchor SAP M16 – solution for installations in concrete with limited space
The SAP M16 anchor is a sleeve anchor with an expanding cone, designed for use in uncracked concrete where space is limited – both in depth and distance from the edge. Thanks to the SA plus design it achieves high load values despite its short length and shallow embedment depth.
All models are available with or without a flange – allowing the solution to be matched to the specific application. The absence of a flange facilitates installation in places where there is no room for additional space behind the wall, while still providing stability thanks to the precise fit of the cone to the sleeve.
Type and diameter markings clearly visible on the anchor surface eliminate the risk of mistakes during installation – especially when working with many sizes on one site. The rounded shank eases insertion of the anchor into the hole, and the large expansion allows high load capacity even with a minimal hole diameter (20 mm) and shallow embedment depth (65 mm).
The anchor is made of galvanized steel – corrosion‑resistant, suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. It complies with the European Technical Approval ETA and the CNBOP certification, confirming its safety and reliability under static loads.
Applications
Mounting of pipes, ventilation ducts and sanitary installations to concrete ceilings
Installation of brackets and load‑bearing structures in industrial halls
Support of consoles and brackets for fire‑protection systems
Fixing suspension points for suspended structures
Installations in locations with limited depth – e.g., under roofs, near penetrations or in thin slabs
Installation requires the use of the ESW PRO expander with a protective rubber sealing element – this is the only way to ensure full load capacity and safety. Do not use other tools – improper installation may lead to loss of load capacity.
