Versatile chemical anchor for demanding conditions
ResiFIX is a vinyl ester injection mortar that stands out due to its styrene-free composition, resulting in low emissions of harmful substances and an A+ emission class. This makes the product safe to use even in enclosed spaces, and its marginal odor does not interfere during installation work. This resin has been approved for very high loads, making it an ideal choice for heavy structural applications. It can be used in concrete (both cracked and uncracked), solid bricks, natural stone, and calcium-silicate blocks. Importantly for installers working in difficult conditions, this material retains its properties even in water-filled holes and is approved for contact with drinking water.
Application and fire resistance
The product finds wide application in the installation of rebar, bolts, steel structural elements, and protective barriers. Thanks to its specific formula, it allows for installation without generating stresses in the base material, which is crucial when working with hollow bricks or lightweight concrete blocks. It is worth emphasizing its high fire resistance – the obtained R120 certificate means that the anchor meets rigorous fire protection requirements. Once cured, the resin is resistant to temperatures ranging from -40°C to +120°C, guaranteeing fastening stability year-round, regardless of weather conditions.
Due to the absence of styrene, installers can work with full comfort in enclosed spaces without worrying about harmful vapors. The possibility of installation in wet holes eliminates the need for prior drying, which accelerates the construction process. The R120 fire resistance provides certainty that the structure will withstand a fire for two hours, and the wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +120°C) ensures the anchor will perform well in both freezing winters and hot summers without loss of load-bearing capacity.
Certificates and durability
The ResiFIX anchor has ETA approval (Option 1), which provides for at least 50 years of service life in cracked and uncracked concrete. Certificates are also available for bonded rebar and approval for masonry walls. The product has been tested for seismic resistance and has obtained the LEED sustainability certificate. The set includes two mixing nozzles, allowing for quick continuation of work after any break without the need to replace the applicator tip. The mortar is intended for use with traditional cartridge guns (recommended models dedicated to 300 ml cartridges) and is available in a 300 ml cartridge (actual content 280 ml).
