Screw for thermal insulation – bridge‑free, quick installation

The 9GR55IPSH screw is a specialized fastening element designed for direct use in ETICS insulation boards made of wood fibers and other materials. It requires no prior substrate preparation – the drill blades at the tip allow screwing without pre‑drilling holes in the render, even with insulation thickness of 60 mm or more.

Its design eliminates thermal bridges, which is crucial for maintaining the wall’s thermal‑insulation efficiency. The thread provides stable holding in soft insulating materials while allowing precise and fast installation with a TX25‑threaded tool.

The main part of the screw is made of glass‑fiber‑reinforced nylon – a material resistant to ageing, moisture, UV radiation and extreme temperatures. The flat head, 16 mm in diameter, is equipped with an EPDM seal that ensures a watertight joint and prevents water ingress during rain – verified by a test in accordance with DIN EN 1027 method A.

The 8 mm through‑hole enables easy mounting of lightweight façade elements: wall profiles, trims, motion sensors, lamps or mailboxes. The screw can also serve as a mounting point for 3.5 mm screws – an ideal solution for external systems where additional metal components must be avoided.

Available in grey (RAL 7045), it matches most renders and façade coatings. Packaged in packs of 50 – ready for mass installation by installers and construction companies.
