The IPS screw is designed for direct fixing in thermal insulation layers – from polystyrene to rock wool boards. Thanks to its specially profiled tip, it does not require pre-drilling in the plaster (up to 7 mm), which significantly speeds up installation work on facades and in technical rooms. It is ideal for mounting wall profiles, protective strips, cornice covers, motion sensors, lamps, or signs.
Construction ensuring durability and eliminating thermal bridges
Made of glass-fiber reinforced nylon, ensuring resistance to aging, weather conditions, and UV radiation. The flat head is equipped with an EPDM sealing ring – it eliminates thermal bridges and protects against moisture; the product has passed the "driving rain" tightness test (DIN EN 1027 standard). The wide-profile thread ensures a secure grip in insulation boards and fits the standard Ø 8 mm hole used in wall profiles. An additional hole in the head allows for light mounting using a small Ø 3.5 mm screw, e.g., for decorative elements.
