Threaded rod for VA AST adhesive anchors

Rod 24x300mm is designed exclusively for use with VA and VA AST chemical ampoules – it does not work properly with other systems. It has a sharpened tip, allowing easy insertion into the drilled hole while also ensuring better adhesive fill during installation. Each rod is equipped with a nut and washer, enabling quick and precise clamping of the element after the adhesive has partially cured.

Each box contains a setting tool – an Allen screw – used to rotate the rod during installation. Installation requires simultaneous rotation and a light hammer blow, providing even distribution of adhesive in the hole and maximum utilization of the joint’s load capacity.

Compliant with the European Technical Assessment ETA (Option 7 for uncracked concrete), the rod meets the requirements for fastening heavy loads with small edge distances. Its load capacity depends on embedment depth – the minimum depth is 210 mm, and the effective embedment length corresponds exactly to this value. The drill for hole preparation should have a diameter of 28 mm.

The rod is made of class 5.8 hot‑dip galvanized steel, providing corrosion resistance in indoor and moderately humid environments. The total length (300 mm) and mounting thickness (65 mm) are matched to standard constructions where a permanent and irreversible connection to concrete is required.

Not suitable for installation in solid brick or other non‑concrete materials – its function and approvals apply exclusively to concrete.
