Universal anchor for gypsum boards, no additional tools required

The BT M5 anchor (9Y5BTP) ensures stable fixation in gypsum boards with a thickness ranging from 10 to 70 mm – without the need for specialized tools. Its design is based on a ratchet mechanism that automatically locks into the hollow space behind the board, requiring a minimum cavity depth of 51 mm. This means installation is quick, requires no additional drilling, and does not necessitate securing the rear side of the structure.

After inserting the anchor into the drilled hole, simply pull it slightly, slide in the plastic washer, break off the legs according to the instructions, and tighten an M5 metric screw into the internal thread of the metal part. The process is intuitive, even for installers without prior experience.

The tensile load capacity is up to 0.25 kN for a 12.5 mm thick board and 0.50 kN for a double-layer board (2x12.5 mm), corresponding to a load capacity of up to 50 kg – sufficient for most hanging fixtures: mirrors, towel rails, window air conditioners, TV frames, or heavy shelves.

The anchor is made from halogen-free materials and holds ITB approval as well as a CNBOP certificate – guaranteeing compliance with Polish construction regulations and fire safety. It is suitable for both G-K boards and other materials with a similar structure: hardboard, chipboard, or perforated bricks with large cavities.

Installation does not require rear access – ideal for work on existing walls or ceilings. There is no need to locate steel or additional fastening elements. All that is required is a Ø13 mm hole and an M5 screw.
