Universal mounting bracket for gypsum boards G‑K, no additional tools required

The BT M4 bracket (9Y4BTP) provides a stable mounting in gypsum boards (G‑K) with a thickness from 10 mm to 70 mm — without the need for special tools. Its operation is based on a latch mechanism: the metal part snaps into the cavity behind the board, and you simply pull the bracket and insert the plastic spacer into the drilled hole to lock it in place. After installation, break off the excess legs according to the instructions and tighten the metric M4 screw into the internal thread.

Static load up to 50 kg — sufficient for most internal elements such as shelves, mirrors, rafters, or ceiling‑mounted devices. This value has been confirmed by real‑world testing on board thicknesses of 9.5 mm and 12.5 mm, for both tensile and shear loading.

Simple yet precise installation — requires only a hole and a screw

You do not need to know the exact depth of the cavity behind the board — it only has to be at least 51 mm. This is crucial: if the space is smaller, the bracket will not work. No special screws are required — a standard M4 screw with the appropriate thread is sufficient. The bracket works not only in gypsum boards (G‑K) but also in fiberboard, chipboard, perforated brick with large cells, and concrete block ceilings — making it usable where other mounting types are ineffective.

The bracket meets ITB approval and CNBOP certification — meaning it complies with Polish building requirements for suspension systems on gypsum boards (G‑K). It is made from halogen‑free materials — important in the event of a fire, as it does not emit toxic gases.
