The 4.5x60 mm screw with partial thread and SIT drive is a solution designed for installers who require a stable, fast, and secure connection in wood – without splitting, without cam-out, and without battery power loss. It was specifically developed for the installation of doors, windows, furniture, and fittings made of wood or composite materials.

The partial thread – 35 mm in length – minimizes pressure on the wood under the head, significantly reducing the risk of cracking. The patented tip design reduces torque by over 30% compared to standard screws, meaning longer battery life and less strain on the tool. The sliding coating further reduces friction – the screw "glides" through the wood rather than "cutting" it.

The SIT drive is not just about comfort – it's about safety. The conical shape of the drive ensures perfect centering on the bit: the screw does not "wobble," does not fall out of the tool, and does not damage the coating. The same drive works correctly on four different screw diameters – a single SIT 20 bit is sufficient for the entire range. Alternatively, TX bits can be used – but without these advantages.

Under the head are internal milling pockets – ideal for mounting metal fittings. They leave no chips on the surface, allowing for clean, deep countersinking without the need for pre-drilling. The screw is electro-galvanized – corrosion-resistant, but not suitable for wet or outdoor applications without additional protection.

Approved by ETA (ETA-12/0198) as a connecting element in timber construction – meaning it meets normative requirements for load-bearing structures and is not "just" a fast furniture screw.
