Partially Threaded Wood and Chipboard Screw with SIT Socket

Designed for assembly in wood and chipboard, this screw utilizes patented partially threaded tip technology that significantly reduces torque and minimizes the risk of material splitting. This ensures more controlled installation and extends tool battery life – especially during repeated use.

The SIT socket provides excellent force transmission and stability during tightening. The screw does not spin in place, as its conical recess automatically centers it in the material – facilitating work even under challenging conditions. Alternatively, TX bits can be used, but this forfeits key advantages: lack of centering, higher torque, and increased risk of surface damage.

The zinc coating with an additional lubricant reduces friction – resulting not only in easier tightening but also fewer wood chips on the joint surface. For the 4.5 mm diameter, a countersinking pocket is located under the head – ideal for connections with metal components, such as fittings or door frames.

The screw holds ETA-12/0198 approval, meaning it has been verified as a safe and durable structural component in timber construction – not only for furniture but also for doors, windows, and other applications requiring certification.
