Construction and operating principle

The disconnect is based on a disconnector placed in a dedicated housing, equipped with an overcurrent release. Auxiliary contacts are used to indicate the device status. The power supply to the disconnect, necessary for its operation, is supplied via a phase relay, which guarantees its activation even in the event of a voltage loss in one or two phases. The 230VAC release used ensures compatibility with commonly used control systems. The triggering and signaling devices operate at 230VAC.

It is worth emphasizing that this model represents the simplest solution without advanced control over the control installation between the triggering device and the actuator. This means that after pressing any triggering device, the power is immediately disconnected by the actuator and an alarm signal is simultaneously activated.

Dimensions and mounting

The disconnect is characterized by dimensions of 400 mm (width) x 820 mm (height) + 250 mm (cable pocket) + 900 mm (foundation) x 285 mm (depth). The housing is available in an external (OZ) version made of SMC reinforced polyester, providing resistance to weather conditions and an IP54 degree of protection. The internal version has an IP30 degree of protection and is designed to operate in a temperature range of -5°C to +40°C. This allows it to be adapted to different installation conditions.

The kit includes a triggering device UU PWP and a signaling device US PWP, which simplifies installation and system configuration. The OPDP-KS2 housing provides safe placement of components and protection against mechanical damage.
