Precise under-sink water heating

KompaktX is an electronically controlled flow-through heater designed to be installed under a sink or washbasin - where every centimeter of space counts. The device achieves a power of 11 kW or 13.5 kW with a three-phase 400 V supply, and thanks to the Multiple Power System (MPS®), the installer can select the maximum power consumption on-site without the need to order a different version.

At the heart of KompaktX is the TWIN TEMPERATURE Control TTC® technology - a dual temperature sensor compensates for water pressure fluctuations and automatically regulates the heater power. The result? The outlet temperature does not jump when a second tap is opened or during flow changes. In the comfort zone (35-43°C), the device allows setting it with an accuracy of up to 0.5°C, and the full regulation range is 20-60°C.

Control and programming

The panel with an LED display and two memory buttons allows quick access to favorite settings - factory programmed at 35°C and 48°C. Additionally, the temperature limiter function is useful in homes with children or in public utility premises.

For users valuing modern solutions, smartphone or tablet control is available (iOS 9+ / Android 4.4+) - requiring the FXE3 (C) radio adapter and the Smart Control app. The optional FXS Next (C) radio remote control enables remote operation from a distance of up to ~10 m.

Heating system and durability

The use of IES® technology (bare heating wire) means less susceptibility to limescale buildup compared to traditional encased heating elements. This translates to a longer service life and easier maintenance of the device.

The pressure-resistant construction allows for compatibility with any fixtures - both single-lever and touchless. The device is also suitable for reheating pre-heated water, e.g., from a solar installation (supply temperature ≤60°C).

Installation and equipment

With dimensions of 29.4 × 17.7 × 10.4 cm, KompaktX fits practically anywhere. The brass G ⅜" connection fittings are directed upwards - facilitating direct connection to a kitchen or washbasin faucet.

In the set, you will find everything needed for installation:

• a flexible ⅜" connection hose in stainless steel braid (50 cm),
• a tee for the angle valve,
• a mains cable ready for the connection box of an electric cooker socket.

For optimal water consumption, it is worth considering the optional CSP flow regulators - they aerate the stream, creating a soft spray without splashing.

The device achieves a capacity of 4.8 l/min (at Δt=33K) for 11 kW power or 5.8 l/min for 13.5 kW power - sufficient to serve a single washbasin or two outlets simultaneously.
