Reducer coupling 1 1/8" x 1/2" ACR 9600 009004000
Reducing coupling for copper installations
This reducing coupling, made of copper, is used to connect pipes of different diameters in air conditioning and refrigeration installations. It allows for a precise connection of a 1 1/8 inch diameter pipe to a 1/2 inch diameter pipe, ensuring a tight and durable connection. It is an essential element during the construction or modification of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Construction and application
The coupling has simple connections for soldering, which ensures easy assembly and disassembly. Made of copper, it is characterized by high resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. The use of connectors made of copper pipes with thicker walls guarantees tightness even at high pressures in the system. It is compatible with various refrigerants – HCFC, HFC, HFO and HC – making it a universal solution for many installations. However, it should not be used in systems with ammonia (R717).
Key features and benefits
- Diameter reduction: allows connection of pipes with different diameters (1 1/8 inch and 1/2 inch).
- Material: made of copper, ensuring corrosion resistance and long life.
- Hard soldering: connection obtained by hard soldering with a minimum silver content of 2% guarantees tightness and strength.
- Compliance with standards: meets the requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directive PED 97/23/EC and standards PN - EN 12735 and PN - EN 1057 regarding copper pipes.
- Wide temperature range: possibility of operation in the temperature range from -196°C to 150°C.
- Warranty: the manufacturer offers a 25-year warranty on the connection tightness with correct installation.
- Compatibility: ACR fittings are compatible with various refrigerants, increasing their versatility.
