Smoke ventilation control panel – reliable safety control

The RZN 4416-M is a modular control system designed for smoke and natural ventilation systems. It provides comprehensive control over the process of smoke and heat removal in the event of a fire, which is crucial for the safety of people in the building and the effective operation of rescue services. The device complies with EN 12101-10:2005 + AC:2007, which confirms its high quality and compliance with stringent requirements for smoke and heat control systems.

Thanks to its ability to cooperate with the AdComNet network, this panel offers flexibility and scalability, allowing integration with other building safety systems. Drive current up to 16 A allows for the operation of a wide range of actuators, and support for two smoke ventilation zones (e.g., stairwells) makes it an ideal solution for small and medium-sized facilities. Equipped with one free plug-in socket for additional modules, it allows for future expansion of the system's functionality.

Functionality and application

The RZN 4416-M supports two smoke ventilation zones (2 lines, 3 groups) and connection of up to 8 smoke activation buttons and 14 fire detectors per line – with the proviso that they must be detectors approved by D+H. Direct connection of weather sensors and electromagnetic retainers simplifies system installation and configuration. The ability to program various functions – alarm, fault, flap limitation or time for ventilation – ensures that the panel is tailored to the specific needs of a given facility. Additionally, the panel monitors the lines for short circuits and breaks, which increases the reliability of the entire system.

Technical parameters and construction

The panel operates with a power supply of 230 V AC / 50 Hz / 500 VA, and its power consumption in standby mode is 13.6 W. The 24 V DC / 16 A output provides sufficient power for connected devices. The housing made of steel sheet ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The IP54 protection class guarantees protection against dust and water splashes, and the operating temperature range from -10 °C to +55 °C enables installation in various environmental conditions. The light gray housing color (RAL ~7035) facilitates integration with the building architecture. The panel operates in "Supervision" (continuous operation) and "Alarm / Ventilation" (short-term operation, 30% ED) modes.
