Manual balancing valve with flanged connections

The MSV-F2 DN 20 PN 25 valve is an element for precise flow balancing in heating and cooling systems. It features flanged connections compliant with EN 1092-2, enabling installation on pipelines without the need for threaded connections – particularly useful during system replacement or modernization where access to threaded ends is difficult.

The housing is made of ductile iron EN-GJS 400-15 (GGG-40), ensuring resistance to pressures and temperatures in hot water systems up to 150 °C. The Kvs value is 6.3 m³/h, meaning the valve allows a defined flow rate at a standard pressure drop, facilitating its adaptation to the designed circuit characteristics.

The valve includes a built-in lift limiter with a locking mechanism that prevents accidental adjustment changes after setting. The handwheel is fully integrated with the limiter – no additional tools are required for locking. The ability to close the valve (shut-off function) allows isolation of installation sections during maintenance without the need to drain the entire system.

It is asbestos-free and can be installed on both supply and return pipelines – this flexibility is crucial when adapting existing systems where space or flow direction is limited. Adjustment is performed manually and can be verified using a flow meter PFM100 or PFM1000, giving the installer the ability to confirm that the Kvs value has been achieved exactly as required by the design.

In practice: if an installation has several risers or branches with different hydraulic resistances, this valve allows "throttling" those with lower resistance so that all consumers receive the appropriate amount of heat or cooling. No automatic regulators are needed – a one-time adjustment and locking are sufficient.
