How it works and why choose it?

The PT1000 sensor is based on the principle of changing the electrical resistance of platinum depending on the temperature. As the temperature rises, the platinum resistance increases, and as it falls – decreases. The sensor design allows for precise measurement, as its resistance is 1000 ohms at 0°C. During operation, the sensor is powered by a constant current, and changes in resistance translate into changes in voltage or current in the measurement circuit. This allows for an accurate determination of the current ambient temperature.
