The MCR4 19 single-function condensing gas boiler is an advanced heating device from De Dietrich, utilizing the latest condensing technologies. The device is adapted to burn gas with a 20% hydrogen blend, making it a future-proof solution in the context of the growing importance of hydrogen in heating systems.

Advanced technology and energy efficiency

At the heart of the boiler is the Gas Adaptive System electronic combustion control system, which automatically adjusts the device's operation depending on the gas category (E, Lw, Ls, or propane/butane). This intelligent regulation ensures optimal combustion and maximum efficiency regardless of the type of fuel used.

The air-gas module provides a wide power modulation range from 10 to 100%, allowing for precise adjustment of output to current heating needs. This enables the boiler to operate economically at both low and full loads.

The device achieves an impressive efficiency of up to 105.8% at full load and very low pollutant emissions (NOx <14 mg/kWh), placing it in the class of the most ecological boilers available on the market.

High-quality construction and components

The boiler features a very compact design with dimensions of 395 x 700 x 285 mm and a low weight of 28.5 kg, facilitating installation even in limited spaces. Despite its compact size, it houses all necessary components.

The toroidal heat exchanger made of stainless steel is covered by a 5-year manufacturer's warranty, which testifies to the high quality of materials and the durability of the construction. Stainless steel ensures corrosion resistance and long-term operation in demanding conditions.

The hydraulic module with a brass body contains an A-class modulated pump with an energy efficiency coefficient of EEI<0.23. Brass as a body material guarantees durability and resistance to chemical agents present in the heating installation.

Control systems and expansion possibilities

The E-Pilot control console is equipped with weather-compensated control and an intuitive user interface. When equipped with the AF60 outdoor temperature sensor, it enables intelligent control of the boiler's operation depending on atmospheric conditions.

The device is adapted for connection to the Smart TC modulating thermostat, which enables a wireless Wi-Fi connection. This allows for controlling the installation via smartphones or tablets through a free mobile application available for Android and iOS systems.

As an optional accessory, the SCB-17B board is available, which can be built directly into the boiler. It enables the management of an additional heating circuit, expanding the device's functionality to support more complex heating systems.

Installation flexibility and approvals

The boiler offers wide possibilities for connection to various flue gas discharge systems:

• Air/flue gas duct (approvals C10, C13, and C33)
• Traditional chimney (approvals B23p and C93)
• Manifold system (approval C53)
• Collective pressurized flue gas discharge system (approval C43P)

An Ø60/100 mm air/flue gas connector is included as standard. The non-return valve enables operation with C43p type pressurized flue gas discharge systems.

Additionally, an expansion vessel with a capacity of 8 liters has been mounted in the boiler's support frame, eliminating the need for separate installation of this heating system component.
