The differential thermostat SLA 2 acts as an automatic controller for the charging pump—it determines when it is beneficial to transfer heat from the buffer tank or solar heater to the central heating circuit and when it is not. It requires no external power source or complex configuration: simply connect the two sensors included in the kit.

One sensor measures the temperature in the buffer tank (or solar heater), while the second measures the return temperature from the central heating system. When the return is warmer than the contents of the tank, the thermostat blocks the pump—there is no point in pumping hot water back into an already hot tank. This prevents overheating and energy waste.

Operates without boiler modification

You do not need a boiler with advanced regulation—the SLA 2 operates independently, even if you have a simple wood-fired boiler without electronics. This allows you to add solar heating or a buffer to an existing installation without modifying the main unit. Simply connect the pump to the thermostat output, and it will control its operation automatically.

Simple installation, ready to use

The kit includes two temperature sensors and everything needed for installation. The device has compact dimensions—22.5 x 19.5 x 8.5 cm—and is mounted in a distribution board or near the boiler room. It requires no programming or settings: it operates based on the temperature difference between two measurement points. If you have a system with a buffer and solar collectors, this is the only differential thermostat that enables efficient operation without additional automation.
