The dependence of the resistance, and therefore also the amount of power dissipated on the cable, depends inversely proportional to the ambient temperature. The unit power of heating cables is thus given for a specific temperature. It is possible to cut cables into sections of any length. Typical Application: - Anti-icing installations of roofs, gutters and downspouts (increased resistance to UV) - Pipeline heating (frost protection)
