Complete charging station protection in a single enclosure
When a wallbox is located more than 10 meters away from the main distribution board, the installation requires additional surge protection - and that is exactly where this sub-distribution board comes in handy. It has been designed to protect a single charger with a power of up to 11 kW, which itself already has built-in DC monitoring.
Inside the enclosure, you will find all the required components in one device:
- Residual Current Device (RCD) - 40A, type A, four-pole, with a rated residual current of 30 mA. Protects against electric shock and detects current leakage.
- Circuit Breaker (MCB) - C20A, three-pole, with a breaking capacity of 10 kA. Protects cables against overload and short circuits.
- Surge Protective Device (SPD) - type 1+2, which means protection against both direct lightning strikes (Type 1) and induced surges (Type 2). Protection level below 1.2 kV.
The entire unit is factory-wired with 6 mm² wires (PE protected by a 16 mm² core), and the input and output terminals support a cross-sectional area up to 16 mm². Two PG-21 cable glands allow for the entry of supply and output cables without additional drilling.
Weather-resistant enclosure
The enclosure is made of technopolymer - an impact and corrosion-resistant plastic - with a polycarbonate door. The IP65 protection rating means full dust tightness and protection against water jets from any direction. The material is also UV-resistant, so the enclosure will not crack or fade under sunlight.
The gray RAL 7035 color matches most electrical installations. Dimensions of 290 × 420 × 133 mm allow for installation even in tight spaces - e.g., in a garage on a wall next to the wallbox.
An operating temperature range from -25°C to +60°C makes the distribution board suitable for both indoor use and partially sheltered outdoor installation sites.

The distribution board itself meets the requirements of the IEC 61439 standard, confirming the compliance of the switchgear design with electrical safety regulations. The CE marking confirms authorization for sale on the European market.
The device is ready to connect - the factory wiring has been tested before shipping. The installer saves time on assembling separate components and their subsequent installation in a panel.
