Construction distribution board 16A 32A CEE 4x230V on a stand with TGD-S/FI plug with VDE-certified protection Doktorvolt DV-6050-D

Flexible power on the construction site and beyond

A portable construction distribution board on a stand is essential equipment for every professional installing electrical systems in temporary conditions. The DV-6050-D model from the TGD-S/FI series delivers power where it is needed - on construction sites, during roadworks, at outdoor events, or in agriculture. Instead of improvising with extension cords and power strips, the installer plugs in a single plug and gains full control over six circuits.

The socket configuration has been selected to handle both small power tools (drills, grinders, chargers) and high-power machinery. Four single-phase SCHUKO 230 V / 16 A sockets allow for the simultaneous powering of LED work lighting and measuring equipment. Two CEE power sockets - one 400 V / 16 A and one 400 V / 32 A - support concrete mixers, compressors, heaters, or circular saws. Each socket is assigned to a dedicated circuit protected by a circuit breaker.

Complete VDE protection apparatus

The safety of the installation is ensured by a set of VDE-certified components. C-characteristic circuit breakers (two single-pole C16A, one three-pole C16A, and one three-pole C32A) have a breaking capacity of 10 kA - providing a sufficient margin even for short circuits in long cable lines. The C characteristic means a moderate delay during the startup of induction motors; the circuit breaker will not trip during a momentary current surge when a device decelerates, but will instantaneously disconnect the circuit in the event of a real short circuit.

The 40 A / 30 mA type A residual current device (RCD) protects people from electric shock - it reacts to leakage currents exceeding the threshold safe for the human body. In practice, this means immediate power disconnection in case of wire insulation damage or contact with a live element.

All elements bear the VDE mark - this association conducts rigorous laboratory tests confirming the declared parameters. For a site manager, this means less paperwork during inspections; for the insurer, it is proof that the installation meets standards.

Enclosure resistant to field conditions

The box is made of ABS/PC plastic - reinforced polycarbonate that does not corrode or become brittle under the influence of moisture or varying temperatures. The front plate is grey, the rear is black; the entire unit maintains an IK08 mechanical impact resistance, meaning durability against impacts with energy up to 5 joules. An operating temperature range of from -25 to +60 °C allows the distribution board to be used in both winter and summer.

The protection rating of the enclosure itself is IP65 - dust-tight and protected against water jets. Once the sockets are installed and the cover is closed, the complete distribution board achieves IP44 - it is protected against solid objects larger than 1 mm and against splashing water from any direction. This is a sufficient level for a construction site; the box can be placed on sandy ground or in a puddle without risk of a short circuit.

The enclosure is UV resistant and made of halogen-free material (HALOGEN-FREE) - in the event of a fire, it does not emit toxic halogen gases.

Mobility and daily operation

The aluminum stand with a handle allows the distribution board to be placed on stable ground and moved freely between work zones. The 32A / 5-pin plug with an H07RN-F cable with a cross-section of 5×4 mm² and a length of 1.5 m allows for quick connection to a three-phase network or a generator.

A revision window accommodating 12 modules facilitates system expansion - the installer can add another circuit breaker or relay without dismantling the entire box. The internal wiring is made of H07V-K fine-stranded wires of class five (flexible), which reduces the risk of fractures due to transport vibrations. The wire ends are crimped with ferrules for better contact in screw terminals.

The distribution board complies with PN-EN 61439-1 and PN-EN 61439-3 standards, which define the design requirements and typical tests for low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies. Production takes place in a certified ISO 9001:2015 quality management system controlled by TÜV SÜD; every unit undergoes individual inspection before shipping.

The rated current of the distribution board is 32 A, and the prospective short-circuit current (PSCC) does not exceed 10 kA. The rated frequency is the standard 50 Hz, and the operating voltage supports both single-phase (230 V) and three-phase (400 V) systems.
