Flexible power on the construction site - mobile distribution board with full protection

The Doktorvolt construction distribution board is a complete power center designed for work in harsh outdoor conditions. The device is mounted on a stable metal stand equipped with a transport handle and a protective canopy - this allows the box to be placed anywhere on the construction site without the need to attach it to a wall or temporary structure. It also includes a CEE plug with a wire cross-section of 5×4 mm² and a cable length of 1,5 m, allowing for immediate connection to a power source.

The construction is based on an enclosure made of ABS/PC plastic - a material resistant to mechanical impact (IK08 class) and UV radiation. The operating temperature range from -25 °C to +60 °C ensures the distribution board performs well both during freezing winter work and during summer heatwaves. The total protection rating of the set is IP44, while the distribution box itself reaches IP65 - dust tightness and protection against water jets allow for safe use even during rain or intense dusting.

Socket configuration - single-phase and power sockets in one device

The distribution board offers a wide selection of connection points, allowing for the simultaneous power supply of both small power tools and heavy construction machinery:

  • Four SCHUKO sockets 230 V / 16 A - dedicated to drills, grinders, chargers, LED work lighting, or measuring equipment.
  • One CEE socket 400 V / 16 A - used to power concrete mixers, electric heaters, or compressors with moderate power consumption.
  • One CEE socket 400 V / 32 A - handles the most energy-intensive receivers, such as circular saws or plastering machines.

VDE-certified switchgear protection - full circuit protection

The safety of the installation is ensured by a set of certified components from the German VDE institute:

The circuit breakers react more slowly to short-term current surges during the startup of electric motors, which eliminates the problematic "tripping" of circuit breakers when starting heavy machinery. The Type A RCD protects against the effects of current leakage to conductive elements - if the differential current exceeds 30 mA, all circuits are immediately disconnected.

All components have a short-circuit capacity confirmed by laboratory tests at a level of 10 kA, which guarantees their correct operation even in installations with high short-circuit currents.

Internal wiring and manufacturing standard

The distribution board is factory-wired with H07V-K class flexible stranded wires:

  • Phase wires - black color, cross-section 2,5-4 mm²
  • Neutral wires - blue color, cross-section 2,5-6 mm²
  • Protective wires - yellow-green color, cross-section 2,5-4 mm²

The flexible class of the wire facilitates potential servicing and reduces the risk of wire breakage caused by vibrations during transport between work zones. All wire ends are crimped with tubular ferrules, which increases the contact surface with the terminal and prevents the self-loosening of screw connections.

The device meets the requirements of the PN-EN 61439-1 and PN-EN 61439-3 standards, which define the design and testing of typical low-voltage switchboards intended for general use. Production takes place in a system certified by TÜV SÜD according to ISO 9001:2015 - every unit undergoes a final inspection and receives an individual quality certificate
