Comprehensive power supply for construction sites and workshops

The DV-S/FI construction site distribution board by Doktorvolt is a ready-to-connect distribution device that excels wherever reliable electrical power is needed in difficult conditions - on construction sites, during roadworks, in industrial plants, workshops and garages, and during outdoor events. The device offers a rated current of up to 40 A and supports a voltage of 230 V / 400 V, allowing for the simultaneous connection of both light power tools and high-power machinery.

The socket configuration includes four single-phase 230 V / 16 A sockets (IP54 protection class) intended for smaller devices - drills, grinders, or work lighting. For more demanding consumers, two industrial sockets are provided: 16 A / 400 V and 32 A / 400 V, both also in IP54 version. This combination enables the seamless powering of welders, concrete mixers, compressors, or power generators without the need for additional adapters or splitters.

Overcurrent protection and electric shock protection

The safety of the installation is ensured by a set of certified modular components. A 40 A / 4P / 30 mA residual current device (RCD) protects against electric shock in the event of insulation failure - a mandatory element of every professional construction distributor. Each socket additionally has its own overcurrent protection: the single-phase sockets are protected by two single-pole C16A circuit breakers, while the industrial sockets are served by dedicated C32A (3P) and C16A (3P) breakers. A breaking capacity of ICC ≤ 6 kA ensures effective short-circuit interruption even at high surge currents.

Enclosure and operating conditions

The distribution board has a stationary, surface-mounted design - it is mounted directly onto a wall or supporting structure using the included set of mounting screws with caps. The enclosure is made of technopolymer: the front plate is grey, the rear is black. The dimensions with the installed sockets are 355 × 255 × 125 mm, allowing for installation even in tight technical spaces.

The protection rating of the distribution board itself is IP44 - splash resistance and protection against solid bodies larger than 1 mm in diameter make the device suitable for outdoor use under a roof or in damp rooms. The operating temperature range from -25 °C to +50 °C enables operation in both winter and summer.

The internal wiring consists of H07V-K type cables with a cross-section of 2,5/4 mm² in three insulation colors - yellow-green (protective), blue (neutral), and black (phase) - which facilitates correct wire identification during any potential modifications or servicing.
