Construction distribution board 6x230V DV-S/FI Schuko Doktorvolt 1769 DV-1769-D
Professional power supply for construction sites and workshops
The construction distribution board equipped with six German Schuko sockets is a complete solution for temporary electrical power distribution in locations where the lack of a permanent installation prevents normal connection. The surface-mounted enclosure with dimensions 360 × 250 × 185 mm accommodates a single row of modules (12 modules), ensuring a compact design without unnecessary bulk.
The front plate in grey RAL 7035 blends well with typical installation distribution boards - on a construction site or in a production hall, it does not stand out as a temporary element. The rear plate is black, which further masks any potential dirt from behind.
Enclosure and operating conditions
The technopolymer enclosure is characterized by resistance to mechanical impact and atmospheric factors - rain, dust, extreme temperatures. The IP54 protection rating means full sealing against dust ingress and protection against splashing water from any direction. This makes the distribution board effective both during roadworks in the rain and when powering devices in open areas.
The polycarbonate door provides rigidity while maintaining a low overall weight. The EPDM rubber gasket around the door maintains tightness even with frequent opening - typical wear on a construction site, where access to the distribution board is required dozens of times a day. The stainless steel mounting screws do not rust even with long-term exposure to moisture.
A PG-16 cable gland is included, allowing the introduction of power cables without compromising the enclosure's tightness.
Protection and electrical equipment
Each of the six Schuko sockets (type 2P+E, 230 V, 16 A, IP54) is protected by a dedicated C16A miniature circuit breaker with a breaking capacity of 10 kA. Three such devices serve two sockets each - this configuration ensures selectivity while simultaneously loading multiple receivers.
Protection against electric shock is provided by a 40 A / 30 mA / 2P Type A residual current device (RCD) - a device that responds to both sinusoidal (typical for household appliances) and pulsating (e.g., power tools with rectifiers) leakage currents. In practice, this means effective protection against indirect contact for all connected receivers.
The internal wiring is made of H07V-K single-core cables with a cross-section of 2,5 mm² - yellow-green PE and blue N cores. The 1F /4M /10 mm² busbar with a complete set of end caps allows for quick connection of modular components without additional crimping tools.
The distribution board is mounted using CLIPFIX 35-5 end clips installed on a standard TH35 rail - a proven solution also used in professional control cabinets.
Applications and standards
The distribution board is used wherever rapid and safe access to electrical energy is necessary:
- construction sites and roadwork areas,
- industrial halls and production plants requiring temporary machine power,
- car workshops and garages with a demand for power sockets,
- independent single-family house construction,
- powering green areas during outdoor events.
The manufacturer declares a continuous rated current of 40 A at a voltage of 230 V / 50 Hz AC. An RDF coefficient of 0,9 confirms the load capacity during a natural duty cycle typical for installation expansion.
The distribution board complies with CE directive requirements, IEC 61439 standards, and TÜV SÜD certification confirming the implemented quality management system according to ISO 9001:2015. The residual current device has approval in accordance with the IEC/EN/PN-EN 61009-1 series standards, while the miniature circuit breakers comply with IEC/EN/PN-EN/VDE 61008-1 standards.
