Complete power solution for construction sites

The ECO-S/FI distribution board is a ready-to-use distribution device designed for temporary power supply on construction sites, in workshops, and industrial plants. A complete set of protective equipment and four sockets—two single-phase and two power sockets—are housed in a single surface-mounted enclosure, allowing for the simultaneous connection of both small hand tools and machines requiring three-phase power.

Enclosure design

The enclosure is made of technopolymer. The front plate is gray RAL 7035, while the back is black. The door is made of polycarbonate, and the EPDM rubber seal ensures a protection level of IP44, meaning protection against objects >1 mm and water splashes. The stainless steel mounting screws do not corrode even with long-term exposure to moisture.

The enclosure dimensions are 360 × 260 × 165 mm, and the interior accommodates 12 modules on a single TH35 rail. The rated voltage of the enclosure is 1000 V, so the design easily withstands the working conditions of a typical construction installation. A PG-16 cable gland is included in the set.

Sockets and wiring

On board are two single-phase sockets of the French type (with earth pin)—each with parameters of 230 V / 16 A and an ingress protection class of IP54. Both have a protective contact and are suitable for standard construction tools, e.g., drills, grinders, or work lighting.

Complementing these are two power sockets:

Internal wiring is made of H07V-K cable in three functional colors: yellow-green (protective), blue (neutral), and black (phases). Wire cross-sections range from 1.5-6 mm².

Electrical protections

Protection against electric shock is provided by a residual current device (RCCB Type AC) with parameters of 40 A / 30 mA / 4-pole. It detects earth leakage current and instantly disconnects the power—this is the fundamental protection against indirect contact required on every construction site.

Additionally, each socket has its own overcurrent protection:

• Single-phase sockets → B16 /1P/6 kA
• 16 A power socket → C16 /3P/6 kA
• 32 A power socket → C32 /3P/6 kA

The C characteristic ensures that the breakers tolerate short-term transient current spikes during motor startup (e.g., concrete mixers or compressors) but react to short circuits and long-term overloads.

The phase busbar is designed to carry the full total current of all consumers without excessive heating.

The manufacturer declares a continuous current of 40 A at an operating voltage of 230/400 V. The maximum short-circuit capacity is ≤6 kA.

Production is carried out in a certified quality management system according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The devices themselves meet the requirements of the EU CE directive and the following standards:

• IEC/EN 60898 - circuit breakers,
• IEC/EN61008 - residual current devices,
• IEC/EN61439 - low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies,
• CEI-23-48/49,
• CPR + RoHS - internal wiring.

The entire unit is delivered ready to connect—simply bring the supply cable to the PG-16 gland and apply voltage.
