Mobile power supply on construction sites and in the field

The HL-FI construction distribution board is a compact solution for temporary electrical power distribution in locations without a permanent installation. Four sockets - two power sockets 400V (16A and 32A) in red and two 230V (16A) - allow for the simultaneous connection of both industrial power tools and small household appliances or lighting. The 4P 40A / 30mA Type AC RCD protects against electric shock from indirect contact.

The manufacturer recommends upstream protection with a rated current of maximum 16A - this must be taken into account when selecting the upstream circuit breaker.

The enclosure fits on a single row (4 modules) and weighs 1.35 kg - it can be easily carried by one person. The set includes a PG-16 cable gland for the power supply cable entry and an LZ-4 terminal block to facilitate connection.

Enclosure resistant to harsh conditions

The body, with dimensions of 240.5 × 180 × 110 mm, is made of technopolymer - the front plate is grey RAL 7035, the rear is black. The polycarbonate door features a transparent foam seal, ensuring visibility of the apparatus without opening it. Stainless steel screws do not rust even in moisture.

The enclosure protection rating is IP44, while the sockets have a higher standard - IP54. This means full dust-tightness of the sockets and protection against water jets from any direction. The mechanical impact resistance is IK09, and the enclosure has passed the glow-wire test at a temperature of 650°C - confirming thermal resistance in the event of a short circuit.

The rated voltage of the enclosure is 750 V AC, making it ready for typical construction installations. The operating temperature range from -25°C to +60°C allows for use in both winter and summer.

Certificates and standards for the installer

Production takes place in a management system certified by TÜV SÜD according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The enclosure meets the requirements of EN 60670-1 (general requirements for enclosures) and EN 60670-24 (additional requirements for surface-mounted enclosures). The entire unit is marked with the CE sign.

For the electrician installing the distribution board, the information regarding the socket grounding type is important - the manufacturer uses Type E (with a grounding pin), which corresponds to the French standard also used in Poland.
