Portable power for construction sites and outdoor use

The construction distribution board with a residual current device is a complete solution for electrical power distribution in places where there is no permanent installation - on construction sites, during roadworks, in automotive workshops, or during outdoor events. The HL-FI model is equipped with four sockets with different parameters, allowing for the simultaneous power supply of both small hand tools and heavy industrial machinery.

The technopolymer enclosure has an IP44 ingress protection rating, which means protection against solid foreign bodies with a diameter greater than 1 mm and against water splashes from any direction. The transparent polycarbonate door allows for quick visual inspection of the internal components without the need to open it. A foam gasket around the door ensures tightness even during intensive outdoor use.

Sockets and internal apparatus

Mounted on the front panel of the distribution board are:

• two Schuko sockets (type F) - voltage 230V, current 16A, IP54 class,
• CEE power socket - voltage 400V, current 16A, red color, IP54,
• CEE power socket - voltage 400V, current 32A, red color, IP54.

The higher protection rating of the sockets themselves (IP54) compared to the entire enclosure (IP44) is a significant detail - even with dirt or moisture on the enclosure surface, the sockets remain fully functional and safe.

Protection against electric shock is provided by a 4P 40A/30mA type A residual current device. The device monitors the current difference between the phase and neutral conductors and cuts off the power in a fraction of a second when irregularities are detected. This solution protects the user from indirect contact - i.e., a situation where an insulation failure causes voltage to appear on the casing of a connected device.

The manufacturer recommends external protection with a rated current of maximum 16A.

Enclosure construction and operating conditions

The enclosure has dimensions of 240.5 × 180 × 110 mm and occupies space equivalent to four modules on a single TH35 rail. Surface mounting allows for quick hanging on a wall, pole, or temporary structure. Stainless steel screws do not corrode even during long-term exposure to atmospheric conditions.

The front plate is grey RAL7035 - standard for electrical fittings - which facilitates matching with existing installations. The rear plate is black.

The distribution board complies with the requirements of the EN 60670-1 and EN 60670-24 standards, which specify the construction and testing conditions for modular distribution boards. The manufacturer holds an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certificate issued by TÜV SÜD - a notified body with recognized reliability in the electrotechnical industry.

The set also includes a PG-16 cable gland and an LZ-4 terminal block, making the distribution board ready for connection without the need to purchase additional mounting accessories.
