Complete power solution for the construction site
The TD-S/FI construction distribution board stands out from standard distribution boards because it arrives at the site fully configured - there is no need to select or connect any components. All sockets, modular devices, and wiring are already mounted and connected according to the electrical diagram. Simply connect the supply cable to the PG-16 gland and you are ready to work.
Sockets and apparatus - what you will find inside
The enclosure houses three power take-off points. Two single-phase 230V / 16A sockets made in the German Schuko (Mennekes) system have an IP54 ingress protection rating, making them suitable for work even in moisture and dust - useful when cutting blocks or grouting facades under a roof. The third socket is a CEE power socket type 1385 Mennekes - 400V / 16A in red, with IP44. This combination allows for the simultaneous powering of both small power tools (drills, angle grinders) and larger machines requiring three-phase power - such as transformer welders or industrial concrete mixers.
Safety is ensured by two C16 miniature circuit breakers with a breaking capacity of 10 kA: one single-pole breaker protects the Schuko circuits, and the second three-pole breaker serves the power socket. Additionally, a Type A residual current device (RCD) with parameters 40A / 30mA is installed, which protects against electric shock from indirect contact - i.e., in the event of insulation failure of a device connected to the distribution board.
The built-in LE-02d MID F&F energy meter measures electricity consumption in the three-phase system (measuring range up to 3×5(80)A). MID means metrological certification - the reading is legally binding, which is important for settlements with energy suppliers or contractors on large construction sites.
Enclosure and operating conditions
The enclosure is made of technopolymer - a material resistant to mechanical impact and atmospheric conditions. The door is made of polycarbonate, which maintains transparency even after years of UV exposure. The front plate is gray RAL 7035, and the back is black. The stainless steel mounting screws do not rust even with frequent opening in rainy conditions. The EPDM rubber gasket ensures an IP44 level of sealing - protecting against water splashes and foreign objects >1 mm.
The distribution board has dimensions of 360 × 250 × 200 mm and takes up little space on a site hut wall or a fence post. Surface mounting is used - four holes are sufficient. The set includes mounting screws, module blanks, and a PG-16 gland for the supply cable entry.
Operating parameters: rated current 40A, operating voltage 230/400V, short-circuit withstand up to 10 kA. Internal wiring is made of H07V-K cables with cross-sections from 2.5 to 6 mm², ensuring appropriate current-carrying capacity for each circuit.
Standards and manufacturer quality
The manufacturer has implemented a quality management system certified by TÜV SÜD according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The distribution board meets the requirements of the CE directive, the IEC 61439 series construction standards, and technical approvals for equipment (CEI-23-48/49). The residual current device complies with PN-EN61009-1 and IEC61009-1 standards, and the circuit breakers comply with CSN EN60898 and VDE. The wiring meets CPR requirements regarding reaction to fire and the RoHS directive limiting hazardous substances.
The entire assembly is mounted on a TH35 rail with a single-row width accommodating a maximum of twelve module units - providing spare space for any potential expansion of the installation with additional protection or control elements.
