The TD 16A Doktorvolt construction distribution board is a ready-to-use distribution device designed for construction sites, workshops, garages, and industrial plants. Equipped with a complete set of sockets from Mennekes - one of the leading European manufacturers of electrical accessories - it ensures reliable power supply for portable and stationary devices.

The technopolymer housing is characterized by resistance to mechanical impact and the atmospheric conditions found on open construction sites. The front panel in grey RAL 7035 conceals a polycarbonate door, an EPDM rubber seal, and a stainless steel screw closure. The enclosure protection rating IP44 means effective protection against solid bodies with a diameter greater than 1 mm and water splashes from all directions.

Two 230V sockets with IP54 ingress protection allow for the simultaneous connection of power tools, work lighting, or chargers. The 400V/16A red power socket enables the power supply of three-phase devices - welders, compressors, concrete mixers. The included 35mm TH/TS rail allows for the expansion of the distribution board with additional modular elements.

Operating parameters and wiring

The rated current of the distribution board is 48A, which at a voltage of 230/400V AC provides a full safety margin for typical construction loads. The short-circuit strength of ≤10 kA meets the requirements of the IEC 61439-3 standard, which specifies the testing conditions for factory-assembled distribution boards.

Internal wiring is made of H07V-K flexible cables with cross-sections of 2,5-6 mm² in colors consistent with installation conventions: yellow-green (protective), blue (neutral), and black (phase). These wires comply with CPR standards regarding reaction to fire and the RoHS directive, confirming their safety of use.

The twelve-module surface-mounted enclosure has dimensions of 360 × 250 × 200 mm, ensuring a compact form while maintaining sufficient space for expansion. The rated voltage of the enclosure itself reaches 1000V. The set includes a PG-16 cable gland for introducing power cables, a complete set of mounting screws with caps, and a TH/TS35 mounting rail.
