Solutions for construction sites

The TD series construction distribution board from Doktorvolt is a complete solution for temporary electrical power distribution in conditions typical for construction sites, workshops, and industrial installations requiring power supply. Unlike versions equipped with modular components or residual current devices - the DV-2435-F model is an unpopulated distribution board, which means it reaches the customer as a ready-to-connect distribution box without installed circuit breakers or RCDs. The installer selects and installs the protections independently, in accordance with the requirements of the specific installation.

The enclosure with dimensions 360 × 250 × 185 mm accommodates one row of modules (12 modules) on a TH/TS 35 rail - typical for the TD and BAU series distribution boards from this manufacturer. The construction based on technopolymer with a grey front plate in RAL 7035 ensures resistance to mechanical impacts and atmospheric conditions typical for outdoor use.

Sockets and connection possibilities

The equipment includes four single-phase sockets based on Mennekes fittings - the standard French system with a grounding pin (2P+E), each with a capacity of 16 A / 230 V. This is complemented by two five-pin power sockets (5P) 32 A / 400 V in a red Type 3451 housing - also of the Mennekes brand. The total rated current of the distribution board reaches 96 A, allowing for the simultaneous power supply of both small construction equipment (concrete mixers, pumps) and devices requiring three-phase power (transformer welders, compressors).

The IP44 protection rating for the sockets means resistance to dust and water splashes falling from any angle - sufficient for working in open areas while maintaining basic precautions.

Enclosure construction and wiring

The enclosure is made of technopolymer - a material resistant to corrosion and UV radiation. The front plate is RAL 7035 grey; the back plate is black. The door is made of polycarbonate - an impact-resistant material while maintaining a low total weight of the construction.

An EPDM rubber gasket around the door ensures the tightness of the whole unit; stainless steel mounting screws do not corrode even with repeated opening in high humidity conditions. The set includes a PG-21 cable gland allowing the introduction of power cables with appropriate cross-sections.

Internal wiring consists of H07V-K control cables in cross-sections of 2,5 mm², 4 mm² and 10 mm², color-coded according to the standard:

• yellow-green - protective conductor PE,
• blue - neutral conductor N,
• black - phase conductors L1-L3.

The cables comply with the requirements of the CPR directive and the RoHS standard.

Compliance with standards and certification

The manufacturer has implemented a quality management system certified by TÜV SÜD according to ISO 9001:2015. The distribution board itself meets the requirements of the standards:

• CEI-23-48/49,
• IEC 670.

The rated voltage of the enclosure is 1000 V AC, which provides a safety margin relative to the actual working conditions of a construction installation (standard ~400 V). The RDF coefficient = 1 means full continuous load without the need for current reduction.

The DV-2435-F model is ideal anywhere a mobile power distribution board without factory-installed protections is needed - the installer independently selects circuit breakers or residual current devices to match the characteristics of the specific temporary or semi-permanent installation.
