Ready-to-use construction distribution board with Mennekes sockets
The TD construction distribution board is a complete solution for temporary electrical power on construction sites, in workshops, and industrial plants. Unlike distribution boards equipped with circuit breakers, the DV-6664-D model remains unarmed - the installer independently selects the overcurrent and residual current protection for the specific installation, allowing for full configuration flexibility.
The enclosure features an IP65 protection rating, meaning it is dust-tight and protected against water jets. The front plate is gray RAL 7035, while the rear plate is black - the entire unit is made of impact-resistant technopolymer. The door is made of polycarbonate, and the EPDM rubber seal ensures durable sealing even with repeated opening. Stainless steel mounting screws guarantee that corrosion will not be an issue even after years of operation in difficult weather conditions.
The enclosure dimensions are 360 × 250 × 185 mm - a compact body that fits on a single row of 35mm TH/TS rail (12 modules). The rated voltage of the enclosure is 1000V, so the design easily withstands working conditions typical for construction distribution boards.
Sockets and internal wiring
The distribution board is equipped with Mennekes brand sockets - one of the leading European manufacturers of electrical equipment:
- 2 × Schuko socket (type F) - voltage 230V, current 16A, protection class IP68 (dust-tight and waterproof when submerged). These are two-pole sockets with a grounding pin, standard in Germany and many other European countries.
- 1 × CEE power socket - voltage 400V, current 32A, five-pole (3P+N+E), protection class IP67, red color (type 240A).
- 1 × CEE power socket - voltage 400V, current 16A, five-pole (3P+N+E), protection class IP67, red color (type 228A).
All power sockets are red - this is the standard for three-phase sockets with a nominal voltage above 50V AC.
Internal wiring is made of H07V-K control cables:
- yellow-green core (protective) - cross-section 2,5 / 4 mm²
- black core (phase) - cross-section 2,5 / 4 mm²
- blue core (neutral) - cross-section 2,5 / 4 / 6 mm²
The set also includes a 35mm TH/TS rail for mounting any modular devices and a set of mounting screws with caps.
Operating parameters and safety standards
The rated current of the distribution board is 80A at a nominal voltage of 230/400V AC. The Icc short-circuit strength is ≤10 kA - sufficient for most construction and industrial installations. The RDF coefficient is 1, which means full continuous load without rated current reduction.
Production is carried out according to the IEC 61439-3 standard, which specifies requirements for type P distribution boards (intended for unskilled persons). This is important when powering public utility areas or mass events.
The enclosure also meets the requirements of the CEI-23-48/49 and IEC 670 standards regarding insulating materials and thermal resistance.
